Common questions and important details about working together

Booking & Scheduling

For conventions, I recommend booking 2-3 months ahead—spots fill up fast! For local sessions, 3-4 weeks notice is usually fine, but I can sometimes accommodate last-minute requests if my schedule allows.
Life happens! You can reschedule up to 7 days before your session at no charge. Within 7 days of your shoot, a $50 rescheduling fee applies. No-shows forfeit the deposit. Weather-related reschedules for outdoor shoots are always free.
Yes. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. This holds your spot and covers planning time. The remaining balance is due before or on the day of the shoot.

Pricing & Payment

I accept Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, and cash. For larger packages, I can set up a payment plan—just ask!
Nope! All package prices include shooting time, editing, online gallery, and personal use rights. The only additional costs would be optional add-ons you choose (like extra time or expedited delivery) or travel expenses for out-of-area shoots.
For local Southern California events, travel is included. For conventions outside the area, I ask that you cover travel costs (gas/flights, hotel, and con badge). We can discuss splitting costs if you're booking a longer package.

Turnaround & Delivery

Standard turnaround is 2-3 weeks for most packages. For conventions, I try to deliver within 3 weeks. Need them faster? Expedited delivery (1 week or less) is available as an add-on.
You'll get a private online gallery where you can view, download, share, and order prints. All images are high-resolution JPEGs ready for printing or posting online.
Raw files aren't included in standard packages, but they're available for an additional fee. Keep in mind raw files are unedited and require software to view—most clients are happier with the fully edited JPEGs!

Usage Rights & Licensing

Absolutely! All packages include personal use rights, which covers social media, profile pictures, personal websites, and prints for yourself. I just ask that you credit me when possible (it helps me get the word out!).
Commercial use (advertising, merchandise, business branding, etc.) requires a separate license. We can discuss commercial rights and pricing during booking—it's usually an additional 50-100% of the package price depending on usage.
Yes! Personal print rights are included. You can print your images at any print shop or online service. If you'd like recommendations for quality printers, I'm happy to share my favorites.
I love to showcase my work, but I always ask permission first. During booking, I'll ask if you're comfortable with me using your photos on my website, social media, or portfolio. You can say yes, no, or "certain photos only"—totally your call.

Model Release & Privacy

Yes, for legal protection for both of us. The release confirms that I can use the photos for my portfolio/marketing (if you agree) and clarifies usage rights. It's a standard, simple document.
No problem! If you prefer not to have your photos shared publicly or want your name kept private, just let me know. Your privacy matters.

Shoot Logistics

For fursuit shoots: your suit (obviously!), any props or accessories you want to include, water, and a handler if needed. For portrait shoots: any outfit changes, props, and ideas you have. I'll handle the rest!
Of course! Handlers are super helpful for fursuit shoots, and I totally get wanting a friend along for support. Just let me know in advance so I can plan.
For outdoor shoots, we'll monitor the weather and reschedule if needed (at no charge). Sometimes a little overcast weather can actually make for beautiful photos! I'll always prioritize your comfort and safety.

Miscellaneous

All packages include standard editing: color correction, exposure adjustments, cropping, and light blemish removal. Advanced retouching (removing objects, extensive edits, etc.) is available as an add-on at $15 per image.
Absolutely! Group shots and duo sessions are totally doable. If it's a larger group (3+ characters), we might need to extend the session time—just mention it when booking.
Not at all! Most of my clients are first-timers. I'll guide you through everything, keep it fun and low-pressure, and make sure you feel comfortable. We're just hanging out and taking cool photos.
